Brigitte Adams has been called the “poster child” for egg freezing. Since founding Eggsurance, Brigitte has been featured in a wide variety of publications, interviews and media programs including: The Today Show, The Meredith Viera Show, BBC, TIME, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Bloomberg Businessweek, The Financial Times, WSJ, NPR, Washington Post, The HuffingtonPost…to name a few.
In 2016, Brigitte decided she was ready to become a single mom and defrosted her frozen eggs. Her one viable embryo from her eleven frozen eggs resulted in a chemical pregnancy. Determined to become a mom, Brigitte used a donor egg and gave birth to her daughter in May 2018.
Despite her own frozen eggs failing her, Brigitte is still an egg freezing advocate. She is passionate about progressing the fertility discussion and sharing her lessons learned in the hopes that younger and younger women (unlike herself) will take a proactive approach to their own fertility.
